USER DATA PROTECTION & LOCAL ARCHITECTURE

PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: September 2026 • Version 3.1

1. LOCAL-FIRST DATA PRINCIPLE

VidSuno is built with a local-first philosophy. Your project timelines, generated video metadata, and scene checkpoints are saved locally within your environment (.projects/). We do not collect, sell, monetize, or broker your personal creative assets.

2. GOOGLE DRIVE OAUTH 2.0 INTEGRATION & SCOPES

VidSuno allows optional cloud synchronization with Google Drive. When you authorize Google Drive:

  • Restricted Scope: We request https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. This permission only allows VidSuno to create new folders/files and read files that were created by VidSuno itself.
  • Token Security: OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored securely in local server configuration files and are never transmitted to unauthorized third parties.
  • Revocation: You can disconnect your Google account at any time via the Settings page or directly from your Google Account Permissions.

3. BIOMETRIC & FACIAL DATA NOTICE

When uploading performer reference images or character headshots, images are sent solely to neural generation models (such as ByteDance Seedance 2.5 or VEED) for rendering your requested performance shots. We do not build biometric recognition profiles, facial recognition databases, or persistent tracking graphs of your likeness.

4. API KEYS & CREDENTIALS

Your private API keys (MuAPI, Google Gemini) reside solely within your local environment variables (.env.local) or local configuration storage. They are utilized strictly to make authorized model dispatch calls on your behalf.
